Safety Specialist
Trillium has an immediate opening for a Safety Specialist II in Detroit!
A well-established construction company is currently hiring for a permanent Safety Specialist II position at its Detroit branch. In this role, you will assist team members, managers, and supervisors in implementing Health and Safety protocols for the company and its clients. Your duties will also include ensuring compliance with regulations and continuously improving these protocols. Your territory will include Detroit, Toledo, Cleveland, and Akron, with extensive travel requirements.
The ideal candidate for the Safety Specialist II position should have previous experience in various construction areas such as concrete foundations, underground utility installations, mass earthwork, and heavy highway and bridge construction. 1st Shift / Monday - Friday (some nights and weekends required). $75,000 - $95,000 DOE.

- Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Work indpendently and work well with field personnel and frontline supervisors
- Ability to work in a high-production environment
- BA in Safety & Health or equivalent in experience & technical training
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- OSHA 30-Hour & 10-Hour Trainer Certification preferred
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification preferred
